Associate Attorney juvenile

     Jenefer Grant is a fourth-generation Oregonian and a 25-year resident of Columbia County. Throughout college, she worked as a pharmacy technician and later opened and operated a Spanish restaurant for four years. In 1996, she opened her own law practice representing indigent children and adults in dependency, delinquency, criminal, contempt, and civil commitment cases. She also worked on family law cases and taught business ethics at Portland State University.

     Jenefer Grant became a Columbia County Circuit Court Judge in 2007 and completed her term as judge at the end of 2020.   As judge, she was active in managing the juvenile and adult drug court programs, which offered a treatment-based alternative to jail for qualifying individuals suffering from addiction. She also started an expungement clinic and led a program to enable people to restore their drivers’ license privileges upon completion of community work crew service. 

     Jenefer started working as an associate attorney for us January 2021.  See is focused doing Juvenile cases in Clatsop and Columbia County.  She is also serving as a senior judge for Oregon.

     In her free time, Jenefer sings and performs with the River City Singers, a community choir, and enjoys her membership at Cross-Fit St. Helens, an inclusive gym providing significant support to the local recovery community. She lives in St. Helens with her husband, high school-age daughter, and their two dogs.
